How to make certificates for the whole class

  1. Add the names

Type one name, or copy the names from your class list and paste them in, one per line. Leave the list empty to write names by hand.

  2. Choose the words

Every certificate starts with a title and a line about what it is for. Keep them or write your own.

  3. Add the details

The school or class, the date and who signs it. Empty lines print as lines to fill in by hand.

  4. Print one PDF

Download a single PDF with one page per child, on A4 or US Letter. Print it on card stock for a sturdy certificate.

Certificate wording ideas

Award titles

  • Certificate of Achievement

  • Kindness Champion
  • Most Improved
  • Super Speller
  • Math Wizard

What it is for

  • for always trying your best

Printing for a class? Choose black and white: the certificates photocopy cleanly and children can color the border themselves.

Frequently asked questions

Are these certificates free?

Yes. You can make, preview and print certificates for free. You sign in with Google to download the PDF.

Can I make certificates for my whole class at once?

Yes. Paste your class list into the names box, one name per line, and you get one certificate per child in a single PDF — up to 60 names at a time.

Can I change the words?

Yes. The title, the line above the name, the reason, the school, the date and the signature line can all be changed.

What paper should I print certificates on?

Card stock of 160–250 gsm (60–90 lb) looks best. Print at 100% on A4 or US Letter, in landscape.

Can I print them in black and white?

Yes. Choose black and white in the first step for clean outlines that photocopy well and can be colored in.
